Bremont to Boost Best of British (Watchmakers)

Bremont to Boost Best of British (Watchmakers)

Bremont who are already considered to be the quintessential British Watchmaking company are set to become an intrinsic part of the future of British Watchmaking in the most authentic manner possible,  by lending their support to the British School of Watchmaking.

Nick and Giles English who founded Bremont in 2002 are still as enthusiastic as schoolboys despite their success.  Having opened a designated boutique in Mayfair - a must-visit destination and not just a watch shop - the company has added to its portfolio with a spiffing HQ in Henley-on-Thames, the perfect location in which to line up their watch benches, and a step further towards an all-British production line - an ambition which they have had their brave little hearts set on right from the start.

Here's what they have to say on their involvement with the BSoW

".... Bremont plans to integrate itself further with the school by offering some of the students the opportunity to experience working for a watch manufacturer in England".

Every enthusiast of mechanical watchmaking will know that Britain has contributed richly to the history of horology, how appropriate then that a refreshingly unstuffy young English company should now be involved in nurturing the next generation of watchmakers - hoopla!
