Edox WRC Rally Chronograph Automatic

Following on from the release of the Edox Chronorally which we loved and reviewed here the brand now present a mechanically powered piece, the  Edox WRC Rally Chronograph Automatic. Featuring a Swiss ETA Valjoux 7750 automatic chronograph movement this one has a pleasing dial layout with the sub- dials neatly aligned to the 12, 6 and 9 o'clock positions, allowing for a large date window at 3 o'clock.

The use of gold colouring on the tachymeter scale and dial matches perfectly with the carbon fibre styling of the dial and the chunky tyre tread rubber strap.  Gold tone is also used on the outsize start/stop pusher, so often a feature of motorsport-inspired pieces leaving it accessable even when wearing racing gloves (or in the case of the rally fan big woolly gloves - having watched many rally stages, I know that thermals are often a must-have).

The Edox WRC Rally Chronograph Automatic measures 45mm and is water resistant to 100m.
