Longines release a replica of a watch once used by the scientists on the Expéditions Polaires Françaises – Missions Paul-Emile Victor which began in the 1940's with the purpose of  exploring the coast of  Greenland and the Adélie Coast.

The piece features a self-winding movement, the Calibre L619 with a power reserve of 42 hours.
