New Hanhart Pioneer Racemaster Chronograph Models for 2012

Hanhart have a new trio of precision timekeepers, and here they are lounging on a lap timing chart clipboard and looking very splendid indeed - the Hanhart Pioneer Racemaster Chronographs.

Hanhart have a rich history in the development and creation of mechanical stopwatches and wristwatch chronographs and these models are evocative of times gone by - the counters are positioned right at the rim leaving dial space aplenty in the middle, the numerals are diminutive and the hands are broad and chubby-tipped, all features which lean towards understated, no-nonsense functionality.

Entirely retro then? Well not quite.  Hanhart have constructed these models from a new cutting-edge material termed "HDSPro" - a steel which is 100 times more scratch-resistant than normal, so that rather handsome brushed case will stay as is, for longer.

Three models will use the new case material, the Pioneer Racemaster GTM with single button operation (shown above), the Pioneer Racemaster GT, a dual-pusher model featuring a combined small seconds counter and 12-hour counter at 9 o'clock and the Pioneer GTF which has a nifty flyback function.

Clever use of minute track colours, white and faded blue and orange distinguishes each individual model and constrasts with the red hands and the red button, originally a foolproof addition, now a style statement.

Each Hanhart Pioneer Racemaster Chronograph model comes presented on a perforated and lined leather strap.  More information at the brand's Official Website here.
