The Big Crown X1 features hours, minutes, seconds, day, date, chronograph and slide rule - once a vital part of a pilot's kit, used to calculate the fuel consumption during flight time and on this piece adjustable using the rotating bezel.  All of this is clearly and cleanly laid out on the monochrome dial with superluminova enhancing the readability.  The case measures 46mm and is stainless steel with a coating of grey PVD.  Inside is the ETA Valjoux 7750 automatic movement with 42 hours power reserve.

Oris produced their first pilot's watch in the 1940's and have continued to associate themselves with some of Europe's finest aeronauts, including the Swiss Hunter Team and aerobatic pilot Don Vito Wypraechtiger, an incredible talent (with surely the best name a pilot could ever hope to possess...) who has helped the brand with some live testing in the cockpit.
