The Sarpaneva Korona K0 – A Most Undiver-like Diver’s Watch. DLC Case, TiN Dial.

It's always a pleasure to feature the unique creations of Independent Watchmaker Stepan Sarpaneva, so much so that even slight cosmetic updates have us in a flap.  When I featured the Korona K0 earlier this year I described it as a "Most Undiver-like Diver's Watch", and it is.  This watch is capable of safely indicating dive time and is built to withstand depths of up to 300m, yet it retains the dramatic Korona caseshape because in a stroke of ingenious design the mainplate and diver’s bezel merge and move as one leaving the profile largely unchanged.

This edition is presented in a shadowy DLC coated case, a perfect contrast for the labyrinthine dial which features a muted covering of TiN ( TitaniumNitride) topped with matt frosted hands.  Inside is a modified and decorated Soprod A10 Calibre with 42 hours of power reserve featuring a mainplate which is  integrated with the divers timing ring.
