The Tudor Heritage Advisor
Tudor present the Tudor Heritage Advisor. The brand became one of the darlings of BaselWorld 2010 with their retro-tastic Tudor Heritage Chrono, the latest piece remains true to the heritage of the very desirable Heritage collection - new/old never looked so good!
The case of the Heritage Advisor has been up-sized from the original issue of the 50's from 34mm to 42mm and is constructed from titanium and steel. The dial is silvered as every very vintage dial should be with a mix of small-ish Arabic numerals and bevelled hour markers. The piece features a mechanical ringing alarm which is not only a useful function, but one which brings added interest to the dial - at 9 o'clock is an on/off indicator for the alarm, at 3 o'clock is the alarm power reserve and that big elongated arrow-shaped centre hand serves as the alarm indicator. At 6 o'clock is a date counter.
The crown at 2 o'clock sets the alarm, the one at 4 o'clock sets the time and date. Over at the left is an alarm on/off pushpiece. It's classical without being boring, it's quirky without being too techy, it's a winner.
The Tudor Heritage Advisor comes presented on a choice of steel bracelet or black alligator strap with an additional black fabric strap supplied.
