Laurent is the founder of Chronopassion but he is no ordinary purveyor of fine wristwatches. In the past he has been a mentor to some of the best in the business providing advice, encouragement and financial assistance. He has a keen eye for the unusual and the avant garde as well as the more traditional stuff and although his public facade is portrayed as being somewhat playful, his influence on the industry is incalculable. When Hublot opened their first boutique in 2007 they did so with M. Picciotto at the helm, a patronage which Hublot continue to honour with special limited edition timepieces created with him in mind.
The Hublot Classic Fusion Jeans watch combines denim with titanium. Rhodium-plated applied indices rest on a dial created using the fabric with a vividly contrasting red date window. Two sizes will be available, 42mm and 45mm, each powered by a HUB 1112 self-winding movement and each limited to 24 pieces. Perfect for the cowboy-look, as modelled by the man himself who cuts quite a dash complete with a lassoo, don't you think?
