The Eclipse models have a humanistic and rather somber moon face, quite in contrast to the wonderfully playful manner in which each stage of the lunar cycle is represented, as its portions peep out from behind a perfect little moving disc.

There is still an abundance of exquisite plain dial space despite the inclusion of the moonphase and its celestial scene, twin day and month apertures and the date which is indicated as the serpentine hand encircles the dial, cupping each date seductively as it passes.
