Omega Timeless Olympic Speedmaster 5-Counter

Omega continues its sports timekeeping traditions with the release of a new Timeless Olympics collection.  Omega were the first company to be appointed as Official Olympic Games Timekeeper in 1932 when they provided 30 precision timing instruments for the event in Los Angeles. One piece in the forthcoming collection is the Omega Timeless Olympic Speedmaster 5-Counter watch which is powered by the Omega Calibre 3888 Co-Axial automatic movement.

The iconic symbol of the games, the five interlaced rings are represented in the layout of the dial with the use of  five interlaced sub-dials.  Styling is evocative of some of Omega’s earlier chronographs with the vintage red Omega logo and retro Arabic numerals.  Further sporting design touches are present in the red-tipped hands on the sub-dials and the hour hand is the classic Omega arrow.

The new collection which will also include two new Seamaster models is expected to be available early next year.
