Corum Admiral 42 Full Black Colour

Five colourful new limited edition models join the Corum Admiral 42 Full Black collection, enlivening each dial with vibrant tones. 

Since its debut in the 1960s the Corum Admiral’s Cup has been produced in a miscellany of metals and colours and has had complications added and taken away, in fact almost every conceivable re-design possible has been unveiled over the years.  For 2019, a monochrome edition reduced the collection’s colourful dial pennants to mere shadows. However this year, vivid colour makes a comeback on the dial of each new variant of the 2020 Corum Admiral 42 Full Black models. 

In all five editions will be available, each featuring different colour accents of orange, blue, red, yellow or green.  

Sized at 42mm, each black PVD-treated stainless steel case has the dodecagonal profile for which the collection is famous.  The dials are crafted from blackened brass, and while there are subtle greyscale tones on each pennant, they are also defined by an outline of bright colour. A compass-like small seconds dial is positioned at the 6 o’clock location, while a diminutive date aperture is located at 3 o’clock.

The Admiral 42 Automatic Full Black Colour range is powered by the automatic Corum CO 395 movement, which is viewable through caseback sapphire.  Beating at 28,800vph it boasts a 42 hours power supply and, adhering to the collection’s nautical heritage, it is water resistant to 50 metres.

Each model is limited to 100 pieces, and each comes presented on a black rubber strap with a black PVD steel folding clasp.
