Piaget Altiplano 900P Only Watch 2015
This unique edition of the Piaget Altiplano 900P made for Only Watch 2015 maintains the slender profile which has earned it the title of "World's Thinnest Mechanical Wristwatch" but for this one-off model, Piaget have added a little something extra.
It's hard not to measure the achievements of Piaget in millimetres, so adept are they at producing skinnied models. In order to obtain the diminutive proportions of the Altiplano 900P, which is just 3.65mm high, the case and movement are created as one so the mainplate also becomes the caseback and the dial benefits from the animation of the escapement and the gear train at work.
For Only Watch 2015 Piaget have given the model red hands and just like a vivid red handkerchief slipped into the breast pocket of a tuxedo jacket, the Altiplano wears them well.
