With a mesmerising flying tourbillon the focal point on a superb guilloché dial, the new Parmigiani Fleurier Toric Tourbillon Slate is an elegant and beautifully finished timepiece inside and out.

You never forget your first.  And, back in 1995 when Michel Parmigiani penned his first watch it marked the beginning of a beautiful portfolio of critically acclaimed wristwatches. Defined by its knurled bezel upon a precious gold case, the model was named the Toric.

The latest timepiece to be unveiled by the prestigious Manufacture, the Parmigiani Fleurier Toric Tourbillon Slate combines the ultra-slim proportions and flying tourbillon seen previously on the company’s Tonda models with the signature decorative case of the Toric collection.

The piece carries perfect dress watch proportions.  Sized at 42.8mm and with a thickness of just 9.45mm, for this piece the knurled bezel is complemented by a magnificent slate grey guilloché dial.  Adhering to the luxuriousness of the case, the Arabic numerals are made from red gold and they exhibit petite proportions.  At the 7 o’clock, an opening reveals the exquisite tourbillon, which bereft of its bridges “flies” freely.

Viewable through the sapphire caseback, one can appreciate the Côtes de Genève, hand bevelled bridges of the Parmigiani in-house PF517 automatic extra-thin calibre. Enabling its slender proportions, the platinum micro-rotor with its intricate barleycorn guilloche decoration is a stunning feature.

The Parmigiani Fleurier Toric Tourbillon Slate will be a limited release of 25 pieces.
